Would you like to work in the field of nutrition or health coaching? Here are some programs to look into
In most of the US, the only way to become a Licensed Nutritionist is to become a Registered Dietitian which is about 3-4 years of full time in-person study at an accredited university. I went to Keiser University in Florida which offers a coordinated BSc Dietetics & Nutrition program with a guaranteed 9 month hospital internship which helps get you get to the finish line faster so you can sit for your national examination.
However, if you don’t need to be licensed in your state in order to practice nutrition, there are a few different programs one can pursue including these listed below which generally take 1-3 years of study depending on if you are part time or full time. At the bottom of the page, there are some specialization program options for existing health practitioners.
